Admissible Characters

Generally speaking, the only characters that TransSearch recognizes are the letters of the alphabet and digits 0 - 9. The dictionary query operator “+” and the two ellipsis operators “..” and “...” are also recognized.

When looking up queries, the system does not distinguish between upper and lower case.

If your browser does not allow you to type accented French characters, you can employ the “Easy French” convention, where e' is equivalent to é, A` is equivalent to À, c, is equivalent to ç, etc.
